At the start of every class our teacher shares some sort of new knowledge with us. Past topics include: "The Big Lie" "Primaries" "A Big Giganto Swimming Pool in South America" and "The Time this guy I knew totally got exploded by a terrorist and Survived"
Today He didn't say what we were gonna talk about, but I had a bad feeling when I saw that he had a new e-mail from Ann Coulter in his inbox. I have provided a very informative graphic for those of you who live under a rock:

And then my prof just went on and ON about how fab WFBJ was and how we should all know about his great genius-ness.

It's hard to make headphones look stylish and unique but these are a real catch. If you are still using 5$ ear buds, it's time to move up to better quality anyways :) Not saying these are the best phones out there, but I'm sure they are pretty good but not fantastical mind blowing quality. They just look so damn stylish, you almost wonder if they work at all.
Headphones are a good thing to invest in, and if i didn't already have 100$ headphones you bet I would buy these or maybe i will if i ever feel like splurging and wanna listen to good headphones on a plane...

This song is amazing. It came out THE DAY AFTER utada anouced her divorce. It's sold like crazy as well. The lyrics are very touching, and thanks to a very popular drama tie-in it has 642,811 physical sales, while the total ring tone downloads have exceeded 7 million. The song was released in early 2007.
Vocally many critize this song, but personally I feel the vocals sconvey a very strong sense of emotion. It's not her strongest piece, but there is a reason it has 300+ plays on my itunes.
It's important to note that this is officially the most digitally downloaded song in the world. No joke folks. Listen for a piece of history eh?
3. AMURO NAMIE - CAN YOU CELEBRATE?

Let's go way back to 1997. Namie got knocked up and had to get married. So of course she released the best damn song ever about marriage. And I'm not exactly a chick who dreams of weddings anyways. Seriously, this is a classic, no denying. First week sales: 1,108,540. That's unheard of today for a single, in any country. Total sales: I think to this day the single has sold around 3 million. That's not counting albums of course.
Namie is a woman who deserves serious respect: it's not often a woman gets better with age, but she certainly has. Her new hip-hop style is amazing and she actually has gotten more attractive. Unfortunately her english is still that bad though XD
Her voice is kinda high pitched and the "we will love long long time" still irks me to this day. But really, I get into this song so much it's not even a joke.

Greeeen is a group of four dentist students who refuse to show their faces cause they still wanna pursue dentistry. Their style is quite common vocally, but their lyrics are beyond all compare. This may not get you on the first listen but if you read the lyrics for sure you will be stuck to it like me XD

I know what you are thinking XD English? What the heck? Probably most of you don't have this Queen song. It was originally a single of Freddy Mercury's, but Queen later transformed it into a Queen song~
I first heard it as the theme song to the japanese drama Pride starring ultra most sexy smap man on the planet kimutaku. That's where the song gained most of it's popularity, in Japan. A real shame cause this is one of my favorites. It's simply epic and makes me wanna fall in love. Seriously this may be the song I play if I ever get married. Maybe? haha the drama is very good too, if you are ever interested in watching japanese drama for the first time i really REALLY recommend Pride, it's amazing.

I know the question on your tongue...and yes, it IS super model naomi campbell. don't worry though, she is barely in the song :) but it's still cool to tell your friends that you know naomi has released a song before.
This song has a really good feeling. A bit old, but the vocals are good and the lyrics have a bit of bite to them.

Seriously, this is 5 million times better than any thing you will ever hear released in American mainstream or even indie for that matter. Olivia seriously rocks. I would probably recommend her or Shiina Ringo if you are serious about Japanese music, just because they are the most talented female musicians in music today.
The lyrics are seriously weird, but whenever I feel like crying I listen to this song and I instantly feel better. Olivia is American, but too asian to release in America, so she releases in Japan.

how did i get placed in this class? no idea. last class we learned how to identify the subject of a sentence. the strangest part: many people didn't know.
as an aside, we are required to visit a tutor for every essay we write. i felt uneasy because my tutor told me she didn't know how to use semi-colons and colons. i tried to explan to her but i'm afraid she didn't believe me/trust my intelligence. she did however mention that i made good usage of the word "admonish." fantastical.
i've never skipped a class in my life. i wonder how this will turn out? knowing me it will probably have dire and unnecessary consequences. like i will now get a B instead of an A.
in freakier news, my roommate had a slug on her desk yesterday. not quite sure how that happened...
